Amsterdam Ice Bar Entrance Ticket
The Amsterdam Icebar is one of the coolest places in town (literally) and definitely in the top 10 of things to do in Amsterdam. This amazing bar is kept at a constant temperature of -10 degrees Celsius and everything is made entirely out of ice.
Be amazed at this remarkable feat of engineering and enjoy this unique bar as you sip on your favourite drinks from ice glasses and discover more about Willem Barentsz’s exploration of the Arctic.
The bar consists of two parts: a 'warm' lounge and the ice bar itself, which is located at the back. When you enter the Amsterdam Ice bar you’ll receive three free tokens, two silver and one golden. You can exchange the golden token in the warm bar and the silver tokens in the icebar.
In the warm lounge they offer a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You can use your token for a beer, wine, cocktail, shot, soft drink or a warm beverage. While you enjoy your drink, you’ll be introduced to Willem Barentz, a 16th century Dutch Arctic explorer, who will invite you to join him on his journey to find the Northeast Passage to the Indies.
Afterward, you will be given appropriate clothing for the journey to the North Pole and led into the ice bar where everything, from the furniture to the walls and the art, is made entirely out of ice. The icebar represents the island of Nova Zembla, where Barentsz and his crew became stranded for almost a year. At the bar you can use your two silver tokens to order beer, shots or orange juice, served in glasses made of ice!

Instruction of Ordering Tickets
- Please choose your time slot
- Please write down your visit date under 'Ticket Date'.
- Please write down your desired entrance time under 'Entrance Time Slot'.
- Please write down your correct contact number and email address at the order page. The address is used for your invoice only.
- After your payment, we will issue your ticket(s) as soon as possible.
- You will receive your e-ticket(s) by email within few minutes (sometimes it might take longer). You could use it at reserved date and time slot which is mentioned on your e-ticket(s).
- Please note: We will issue your ticket(s) based on the travel date and entrance time you provided. We don't guarantee you get your entrance time, but we will issue the tickets as close as possible to your desired entrance time, and we make sure the entrance time is in the time slot you chose.
- Please pay attention to your exact entrance time on your e-ticket(s). It can be any time in your chosen time slot.
- If your chosen date or time slot is not available (sold out), we will contact you by phone or email for an alternative time slot. Or we will cancel your order and refund your payment.
Guideline of Using Tickets
- Present your e-ticket(s) at the entrance from your smart phone, simply show your barcode to enter.
- You don't need to wait in the queue
- No need to print out the ticket(s)
- Please arrive 20 minutes before your entrance time on your ticket(s).
- Please note: you might not be allowed to enter if you are late for 30 minutes.
